Recently with a break in events and work on Saturdays I had to search locally in the midlands. After hearing of a local and privately scheduled gathering in the evening so I went to document the volume and adversity of cars that arrived.

the EK4 SIR I think everyone can agree the EK civic have a special place in most of our hearts and for various different reasons from the highway runs in Osaka to the apexes of the track or even the famous touge hills.

Mark the owner has made some tasteful upgrades from a carbon fibre vented bonnet to the nardi steering wheel. enjoy some subtle snaps of this clean example of an otherwise rare Japanese gem.

Now for the older brother of the EK4 the EG6 another warrior of tracks and highways alike. A very stealthy piece of equipment.

The next car on show is a car that would be easily overlooked and underestimated which is a Honda stream. The Honda steam comes equip with a k20A from factory, a great engine with plenty of potential.

the engine in this stream is however not very OEM it has had some changes like a hybrid racing fuel rail and valve cover breather filter and some clean visual touches like the painted cover with the mugen colours to catch the eye.

When it comes to styling a Honda in the 90s its gotta be one of the biggest Honda performance companies Mugen motorsport founded by the son of Sonchiro Honda the founder of the Honda motor company. This steam has been jammed packed full of Mugen goodies. First on the list a set of rare Mugen mf10 forged wheels. The colour and condition is flawless.

next is this mugen bumper with the iconic Mugen badge.

a very subtle but stylish Mugen racing III steering wheel.

from the minute you start the stream Mugen is on the mind a nice little touch.

Mugen polished strut brace.

It seems the Mugen era influenced more than just this Honda stream, as is seen on this stealthy Honda integera DC2.

not often integra owners opt for the aggressive look but it is refreshing to see people take a different route. This integra would look more out of place on the road more than a track and I love how raw yet clean this thing looks.

black paint with carbon touches from the spoiler and air duct in the front bumper its as stealthy as you'd want it to be, this thing would just hide in shadows with plenty of bite to match that roaring bark.

I would love to see this thing rip around a track but seeing it on public roads is even more daunting.

the rear is just as aggressive and sharp as the front.

The Rays TE37 in bronze what a complimentary piece for this stealthy integra.

I took a couple of distanced shots of other cars parked away that I thought deserved to be appreciated.

I also shot a gti golf even having a dominant taste in Japanese classics I can appreciate a we'll engineered German car.

Till next time.
